Residency is a flag, not a data-centre address
D1 and R2 are created with the EU jurisdiction set, so the data cannot be rebalanced out of it. Nothing personal is written to the global key-value store, by rule.
Single sign-on your directory owns
SAML, OIDC and WS-Fed arrive as an Auth0 enterprise connection, and membership is granted on a verified domain rather than on a claim your identity provider could set. No credential is handled here.
SOC 2 is under way, and scoped in writing
A Type II report over the Security criterion, with the evidence produced by the same pipeline that gates every merge. The scope and the timing are recorded as a decision, not promised in a sales call.
Where this sits on the ladder
Scale carries every module and the headroom to run on it. Enterprise adds SSO, contracted terms and a signed DPA or BAA.
